John, your wisdom, knowledge, skill, determination, and ingenuity helped us on so many occasions; instinctively knowing when we needed a caring hand or support and coming up with solutions to make our world a better place. You kindly did this with such humility, never wanting or needing gratitude. It was thanks enough for you to know that you had helped. We miss your smile, laughter, sense of humour, sincerity, honesty, your pure generous heart. We miss not being able to talk to you. We miss the reassurance and comfort that you gave us. We just miss you and everything about you. You loved us and were always there for us as we were for you right until the very end.
